Tibet is a sacred and mysterious land, inhabited by an always smiling people. It is the extreme remoteness and isolation imposed by the great Himalayas, which make it a unique world of timeless splendor, tradition and impressive landscape. Known as the roof of the world, it has an average height of 4,000m, limited by the Kulum mountains to the north and the Himalayas to the south, has an area of 1.2 million m and a population of 2.3 million. The city of Lhasa, Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar are just some of the highlights of this region. In Tibet we offer a series of visits/excursions, including tourism, adventure and Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimages. You can go to Tibet by road and by plane from Kathmandu, Nepal. Viajes Diva India recommends going to Tibet by plane due to visa issues. One can return by road to Kathmandu, Nepal if you like and/or want the experience. To process the Tibet visa, a minimum stay of 4 working days in Kathmandu, Nepal is required.
The average temperature in Tibet during the month of April to September remains at 20C during the day. However, night temperatures in the mountains during trekking often fall below zero. Therefore, appropriate warm clothing is required everywhere. It is best to dress in layers that can be put on as easily as needed. Snow or rain can also occur at times.

Jacket for cold, wind and water.
Good hiking boots or shoes

General physical fitness is important for participation in our Tibet tours. There is no age limit, except children under 8 years old or people over 70 years old or older, they are not recommended to participate. All participants are required to obtain a medical certificate to participate in the trip. People with high blood pressure, heart problems or diabetic patients are not recommended for this trip.
All participants must present their own insurance that adequately covers against illness, natural disasters, political instability, emergency rescue charges or any other eventuality that may occur during the course of their trip.
All tours in Tibet are with bed and breakfast in the cities, and on the excursions it is with all meals. You can choose vegetarian food if you wish, it will be prepared by our staff anywhere on the tour. In general, breakfast and dinner are hot and the trekking food is prepared in a bag. Teas and soft drinks are often served along the way.
All tourists need a valid passport and visa to visit Tibet. Once you have booked your trip to Tibet with us, you can request your visa for Tibet and we will do it for you. For the visa process, a scanned copy of the passports of all passengers is required at least 15 days before the departure of the trip.
The visa will be issued by the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu during your stay in Kathmandu. To process the Tibet visa, a minimum stay of 4 working days in Kathmandu, Nepal is required.
