30 OCT - Arrival in Delhi - INDIA
Upon arrival at Delhi Airport, you will be greeted by a representative of Diva India Tours. You will be transferred to the hotel in a private car. Check-in and overnight at the hotel.
DELHI: India's modern capital is also an ancient city whose origins are lost in legend. Hundreds of monuments adorn it, with their carved and thousand-year-old history. From this city numerous Hindu and Muslim dynasties, including the Mughals, ruled India. No less than 7 successive cities existed here before the arrival of the British, who would create, with the help of Sir Edwin Lutyens, their dream capital.
31 OCT - DELHI - Guided tour of the city of New Delhi
Breakfast. We will visit the Lotus Temple and the Sikh Temple Gurudwara. In the afternoon, we will go on an excursion to the Akshardham Temple in Delhi, a complex made of pink stone and white marble. It is decorated with 234 columns carved in stone and has more than 20,000 sculptures and statues of divinities. At around 6:00 pm, we will visit the fair/market of the Festival of Lights organized on these dates. Dinner and accommodation.
01 NOV - DELHI - JAIPUR - Diwali Festival of Lights
Breakfast. Departure by road to Jaipur, the Pink City where the iconic facade of the Palace of the Winds is located. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, photo stop at the Albert Hall Palace and the Birla Temple where the guide will tell us about this festival and we will visit the local market to see the Diwali lights. Dinner and accommodation.
02 NOV - JAIPUR - Amer - JAIPUR
Breakfast. We will visit Amber, which offers a spectacular view from the road. We will climb up to its fortified palace on elephant back. We will make a photo stop at the Palace of Wind and Lake. On the way back to Jaipur we will visit the Maharaja's Palace and its museums. We will also be amazed by the colossal instruments of the Jai Singh Observatory. At around 6:00 p.m. we will go to the city palace to see the religious ceremony of the festival of lights Diwali. Dinner and accommodation.
03 NOV - JAIPUR - Abhaneri - Fatehpur Sikri - AGRA
Breakfast. Departure in the morning for Agra, visiting on route the Abhaneri stepwell and the ghost town of Fatehpur Sikri, the imperial capital frozen in time. It was the last city built by Akbar and apparently abandoned due to lack of water. We continue to Agra, a city that alternated with Delhi as the capital of the Mughal Empire. Dinner and accommodation in hotel.
04 NOV - AGRA - DELHI
Breakfast. Visit to the Taj Mahal, which captivates those who see it with its unsurpassed architectural perfection. Next, we will visit the Red Fort of Agra, on the banks of the Yamuna River, in the heart of the city. It reflects Indian architecture under three Mughal emperors: Akbar, Jehangir and Shah Jahan. Next, departure by road to the city of Delhi. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
05 NOV - DELHI - KATHMANDU
Breakfast. Transfer to Delhi airport to board the flight to Kathmandu. Arrival in Kathmandu, visa processing and transfer to the hotel.
In the afternoon, you can stroll around the tourist district of Thamel on your own. Here you will find restaurants, bars and shops of all kinds. Dinner and overnight.
06 NOV - KATHMANDU - SWAYAMBUNATH - PATAN
Breakfast. Full day guided tour with a Spanish-speaking guide. In the morning, visit Kathmandu. We will visit the Kumari Palace. Later, visit the Swayambunath Stupa. Continue to Patan and visit the palace complex. Dinner and accommodation.
07 NOV KATHMANDU - BODHNATH - PASHUPATINATH - BHAKTAPUR
Breakfast. In the morning we will visit Bodhnath, one of the largest stupas in the world. We will also visit the temples of Pashupatinath, one of the most important temples of the Hindu religion dedicated to the god Shiva. Here we can see the cremation of corpses on the banks of the Bagmati River.
Next, we will visit Bhaktapur or Bhadgaon, one of the three main cities in the Kathmandu Valley, which retains some of its ancient way of life, reminding you of what the entire Kathmandu Valley must have been like during medieval times. Bhaktapur is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its rich culture, temples, as well as wood, metal and stone works. Dinner and overnight.
NOV 08 KATHMANDU DELHI EUROPE / AMERICA
Breakfast. Transfer to Kathmandu airport to board a flight to Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi airport, you will be transferred to your next destination.
