Itinerary

Classic Nepal - 8 days

DAY 01 Arrival in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.


DAY 02 KATHMANDU / Swayambunath / Patan - KATHMANDU

Breakfast. In the morning, half-day sightseeing tour: Durbar Square, the former royal residential quarter, with over 50 major temples and the Rana Palace, called Singha Durbar; Hanuman Dhoka, the imposing gateway to the Royal Palace with its statue of the monkey god. We will drive along the geek street, where hippies once relaxed, to visit the house-temple of the kumari, the child goddess, a living goddess. We will end the morning at the great stupa of Swayambunath, with the eyes of Buddha painted on all four sides. Its sacred location on a hill was decided 2,500 years ago, long before the advent of Buddhism in Nepal.


In the afternoon, visit Patan, touring the old city: Newar, the Golden Gate, the Teleju Temple and the statue of Yogendra Malla. Dinner and accommodation.


DAY 03 KATHMANDU - BODHNATH-PASHUPATINATH-KATHMANDU

Breakfast. In the morning we will visit Bodhnath, one of the largest stupas in the world. We will also visit the temples of Pashupatinath, one of the most important temples of the Hindu religion dedicated to the god Shiva. Here we can see the cremation of corpses on the banks of the Bagmati River.


Free afternoon. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.


DAY 04 KATHMANDU POKHRA (200 Kms/5 &1/2 Hrs.)

Breakfast. Departure by road to Pokhra. Arrival and check in at the hotel.


Pokhara is famous for the Himalayan peaks and the Annapurna Himalaya Range. Some of the famous mountains that can be seen from Pokhara are Mt. Machhapuchree, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Hinchuli etc. It is the only city in Nepal, which consist of seven beautiful lakes. Some of the famous lakes are Fewa Lake, Begnas Lake and Rupa Lake. It is the only city in Nepal, which has excellent caves. There are more than 5 caves within this city. Some of the popular caves are Mahendra Cave, Bat Cave, Khola Kali Cave, Siva Cave etc.


In the afternoon, take a 1-hour boat ride on Fewa Lake. Depending on the time of arrival and weather, the local office may decide to conduct this ride the following day. Overnight at Hotel.


DAY 05 IN POKHRA

Early in the morning we will head towards Sarangkot to see the sunrise.


Sarangkot is 1600 meters above sea level, it is an excellent place to enjoy the Himalayan landscapes.


Return to the hotel and breakfast.


Free day for personal activities.


Overnight in hotel.


DAY 06 POKHRA - CHITWAN 175 Kms / 5 hours

Breakfast and departure by road to Chitwan National Park. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.


The Royal Chitwan National Park, one of the most famous parks in Asia, is easily accessible from Kathmandu. This National Park is situated in the subtropical Terai belt in the southern central lands of Nepal. It is about 169 km from Kathmandu. It covers an area of ​​932 sq km. The Park covers a pristine area with a unique ecosystem of significant value to the world. 


Upon arrival Check in at the hotel, briefing, elephant safari, audiovisual presentation.


Lunch, dinner and hotel accommodation.


DAY 07 IN CHITWAN - Safari in the Park

Early morning visit to the National Park, return to the hotel and breakfast.


After lunch, safari in the Park.


There are over 43 species of mammals and over 450 species of birds in the Park although it is especially known for the endangered one-horned rhinoceros, tiger and gharial crocodile along with many other common species such as gaur, wild elephant, four-horned antelope, striped hyena, pangolin, Gangetic dolphin, lizard and python.

DAY 08 CHITWAN - Kathmandu DELHI / DUBAI / VARANASI / CALCUTTA

Breakfast. Drive to Kathmandu airport. It takes approximately 5 hours to reach Tribhuvan International Airport to catch your flight to your next destination.

Empezaremos la visita con una foto parada en el fuerte rojo, cerca se encuentra Chandni Chowk, en tiempos avenida imperial que el Shah Jahan gustaba recorrer cabalgando,  y desde all iremos a, pasando por las callejuelas de vieja Delhi, Jama Masyid,  una de las mezquitas ms grandes de la India, construida por el Emperador Mogol Shah Jahan en el s.XVII.
